    Description

    This award enables a U.S. scholar to undertake a flexible combination of teaching and research at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) in Austria. The scholar will teach at least two class sessions per week for diploma, master’s, and PhD students in areas such as arts management, economics of arts, entrepreneurial education in the arts, value of arts amenities, and legal issues in cultural management. Course content and research objectives are negotiated with the host institutions to align with institutional needs and the grantee’s expertise.

    Additional responsibilities may include advising or supervising advanced students, developing joint projects with faculty, and contributing to ongoing departmental research and publications. The award is designed to foster academic exchange, institutional collaboration, and international understanding.
