Description
This Fulbright award provides a unique opportunity for U.S. scholars to engage in scientific consultancy, collaborative research, and academic exchange at the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) in Lisbon, Portugal. The program seeks projects in marine and environmental sciences, with a focus on interdisciplinary research, including biology, chemistry, oceanography, environmental sciences, geology, mathematics, physics, and related fields. The selected scholar will help shape research strategies, contribute to ongoing projects, initiate new research lines, and mentor students. The award aims to foster long-term U.S.-Portugal scientific partnerships and promote international understanding.
