Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program supports research at any university or research center in Hauts-de-France, northern France. Projects are welcome across the hard sciences, social sciences, and humanities, with regional strengths in environmental and climate sciences, health, and artificial intelligence. Research may be scientific, qualitative, quantitative, practice-based, or artistic, including experimental, clinical, and applied work.
The award combines research with Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations and promoting international understanding and cooperation. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host communities alongside their research. Applicants propose an appropriate regional host, and the Franco-American Fulbright Commission can help identify institutions matching their interests.
