This opportunity supports U.S. scholars in conducting independent research at any university or research center in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France, including cities such as Lille, Amiens, and Dunkirk. The region is distinguished by its competitive research clusters, strong universities, and active participation in major European initiatives like EUNICE and NeurotechEU. All academic disciplines are welcome, with particular strengths in environmental and climate sciences, health, artificial intelligence, marine energy, circular economy, and societal transformation. Scholars are expected to engage with the local academic and broader community through public talks, mentoring, and cultural exchange, advancing the Fulbright mission of international understanding.
