Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program, working with the Franco-American Fulbright Commission, supports research at any university or research center in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, including Bordeaux, Poitiers, La Rochelle, Limoges, and Pau. Scholars propose their own projects across all disciplines. Research may be scientific, qualitative, quantitative, practice-based, or artistic, with work conducted in laboratories, the field, archives, or other appropriate settings.
The award particularly welcomes projects aligned with regional priorities for scientific excellence, territorial resilience, and societal transitions. Alongside research, Fulbright seeks to strengthen relationships between the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host communities.
