This opportunity supports U.S. scholars in conducting independent research at any university or research center in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France, including cities such as Bordeaux, Poitiers, La Rochelle, Limoges, and Pau. The region is renowned for its vibrant academic environment, with six universities, a strong record of scientific output, and a welcoming cultural atmosphere. All disciplines are eligible, with particular interest in energy efficiency, advanced materials, digital technologies, environmental and health sciences, and social sciences addressing societal transitions.
