Description
This Fulbright Scholar award, funded by BOKU University and administered through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program and Fulbright Austria, supports one visiting professor in Vienna. The visit combines teaching in the scholar’s specialization, graduate student supervision, and collaborative research. Courses and research objectives are negotiated with BOKU to reflect institutional needs and the scholar’s expertise. Duties may also include doctoral advising and co-supervision of PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows.
The award supports BOKU’s core fields in life sciences, sustainability, natural resources, and related social and technical disciplines. BOKU particularly welcomes contributions to its Future Food and Farming bachelor’s program and master’s programs in Applied Limnology, Safety in the Food Chain, and Water Management and Environmental Engineering. The exchange also seeks to strengthen institutional relationships and promote mutual understanding between Austria and the United States.
