This award enables a U.S. scholar or professional to spend three months at the British Library’s Eccles Institute for the Americas and Oceania in London, undertaking a research or professional project in librarianship or information science. Projects may focus on exploring the British Library’s collections, conducting fieldwork at the Library and other institutions, or combining both approaches. Proposals should address topics such as information literacy, contemporary libraries, knowledge institutions, or information systems in the Americas, with comparative or transnational perspectives welcome. The scholar is expected to engage with the intellectual and cultural life of the Eccles Institute and the British Library, contributing through events, workshops, and publications, and to foster transatlantic knowledge exchange and cultural relations.
