Description
The Fulbright-British Library Eccles Institute award supports three months of research and professional development in librarianship and information science at the British Library in London. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program and hosted by the Eccles Institute for the Americas and Oceania, it welcomes library professionals and academics working in relevant disciplines, including library science, museum studies, and information sciences/systems.
Projects must address information literacy, contemporary libraries, knowledge institutions, or information systems in the Americas. Scholars may explore the Library’s collections, conduct fieldwork at the Library and other relevant institutions, or combine these approaches. Comparative and transnational perspectives are eligible. The award fosters transatlantic knowledge exchange and cultural relations, with opportunities to contribute to the Institute’s intellectual life through events, workshops, and publications.
