Description
This award enables U.S. scholars in mathematics to conduct independent research or collaborative projects at the HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics in Budapest, Hungary. Scholars may focus on areas such as combinatorics, combinatorial optimization, number theory, mathematical foundations of AI and network theory, algebraic geometry, or topology. In addition to research, recipients involved in teaching/research will deliver colloquium lectures and mentor students in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics program.
