Description
This opportunity enables outstanding American scholars and leading applied researchers to spend one academic year as visiting research chairs at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Three distinct chairs are available:
- Arts and Social Sciences: Open to scholars working on any topic relevant to Carleton's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
- Fintech or Accounting: Hosted by the Sprott School of Business, for scholars focused on innovative, technology-enabled financial and accounting practices.
- Environmental Science: Within the Faculty of Science, for scholars collaborating on interdisciplinary research addressing complex environmental challenges.
Chairholders will engage in research, lead seminars, mentor students, and foster research networks that extend beyond their Fulbright tenure. The program is designed to build lasting academic collaborations and contribute to Carleton’s vibrant scholarly community.
