Description
The Fulbright Canada Research Chair at the University of Ottawa offers leading American scholars from any discipline the opportunity to spend an academic year immersed in research and scholarly exchange at one of Canada’s top research-intensive and largest bilingual universities. Four Research Chairs are awarded annually, fostering collaboration with faculty across the university’s ten faculties and numerous research centres. The program is designed to support innovative research, facilitate access to state-of-the-art facilities, and build long-term international networks, with a special emphasis on projects that align with the university’s strategic research priorities. Engagement with Ottawa’s dynamic intellectual and policy community is encouraged, and the award is open to both established and early-career researchers, as well as scholars whose work focuses on the francophonie.
