Description
Fulbright Canada Student Awards for Americans support graduate students, prospective graduate students, and promising young professionals undertaking graduate study or research in Canada. Administered by Fulbright Canada, the program supports the first year of a Canadian master’s or doctoral program, research contributing to a U.S. graduate degree, or an academic year of independent research. Host affiliations may include Canadian universities, research centers, research institutes, think tanks, and government agencies.
The competition is open to all fields, subject to medical-training restrictions. Projects must demonstrate their relevance to Fulbright Canada’s mandate of enhancing mutual understanding between Canada and the United States. The program particularly welcomes work on contemporary issues relevant to both countries, their relationship, and shared government priorities.
