Description
The Fulbright-Cardiff University Scholar Award supports a four-to-six-month project in a research-active department at Cardiff University in Wales. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program with the US-UK Fulbright Commission, it welcomes all appropriate specializations across the humanities, natural, physical, health, life and social sciences, engineering, and technology. Scholars may conduct research, teach undergraduate or graduate courses, undertake professional or artistic projects, mentor students, or contribute to faculty, curriculum, and program development.
The award combines academic exchange with Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships and mutual understanding between the United States and other countries. Candidates should explain why their project belongs in the UK and how they will engage with the wider community. Commission-organized academic, cultural, and social opportunities complement the primary project.
