Description
The Fulbright-CY Initiative Award supports scholars pursuing research or combined teaching and research with colleagues at CY Cergy Paris Université and ESSEC Business School in France. Projects take place within affiliated academic departments or research centers, with possible collaboration involving other CY Alliance members, including art and architecture schools. Teaching involves undergraduate or graduate courses designated by the host institution.
CY Initiative welcomes all research fields except medicine. Its 26 research units have particular strengths in physics, mathematics, economics, and computer science, alongside biology, chemistry, engineering, heritage science, environmental science, humanities, geography, education, law, and political science. Incoming scholars join the visiting fellows community at CY Advanced Studies. The award also advances Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other countries through academic exchange and international understanding.
