Description
This Fulbright Distinguished Scholar award supports teaching and teaching/research at Czech Technical University (CTU) in the Czech Republic. Co-financed by the Fulbright Commission and the university, it seeks projects in all fields offered by CTU, including architecture, business, computer science, design, economics, engineering, environmental sciences, information sciences/systems, materials science, mathematics, physics, and urban planning/studies.
Scholars teach a maximum of two advanced undergraduate or graduate courses and engage in research collaboration, with scope to propose their own courses and research project. They also advise or mentor students and assist with faculty, curriculum, or program development. Teaching is in English. Beyond academic work, the exchange promotes international understanding and stronger relationships between people in the United States and the Czech Republic. Scholars may be asked to give public talks and engage with the host community.
