    Description

Fulbright Denmark supports graduate-level study and research in the United States by Danish Master's and PhD students. Awards fund “free-movers” who arrange their own U.S. studies or research, including non-degree visits and full-degree study. The program combines financial support with a commitment to academic and cultural exchange between Denmark and the United States.

Grantees are selected for their academic, professional, and personal achievements and their potential to become leaders in their fields. The program encourages involvement in host communities and lifelong connections through the worldwide Fulbright network. Alongside core grants, Fulbright Denmark offers joint grants with selected U.S. universities and arts grants through the Danish Ministry of Culture. All fields are supported, with strategic focus areas in Sustainability, Space/Arctic, and Life Sciences.
