Description
Funded by Adelaide University through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this Distinguished Chair supports one exceptional U.S. researcher undertaking a project of their choosing in cyber-mediated information influence. The scholar spends five to six months at Adelaide University in Adelaide, South Australia, collaborating with experts across international security, cognitive and social psychology, mathematics, linguistics, and cyber-AI.
The chair combines research with academic exchange through guest lectures, seminars, and individual engagement with faculty, staff, and students. Workshops and short seminars are encouraged rather than intensive seminars or coursework. The award aims to develop long-term collaborations and institutional links between Adelaide University and the scholar’s home institution, while advancing Fulbright’s mission of international understanding and cooperation. Scholars may also be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
