This award enables experienced U.S. academics, artists, and professionals to spend two to four months at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) in São Leopoldo, Brazil. Scholars conduct independent research or a combination of research and limited teaching in the fields of education, linguistics, design, or technology, while engaging with the university’s multidisciplinary research community. The program aims to deepen international understanding and collaboration, with opportunities for public talks, mentoring, and community engagement. Housing is arranged by UNISINOS, and English is sufficient for all activities.
