This award provides distinguished U.S. scholars with the opportunity to conduct research, collaborate, and engage with students and faculty at one of six premier public universities in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Scholars may pursue independent or collaborative research projects, guest lecture, mentor students, and participate in seminars, conferences, and roundtable discussions. The program aims to foster innovative partnerships, strengthen educational ties, and expand institutional linkages between the U.S. and Brazil, particularly in the strategic areas of biotechnology, food safety, energy transition, and agriculture 4.0. Both in-person and online engagement are supported, and the host university assists with housing and settling in.
