Description
This Fulbright Distinguished Scholar award supports a combination of economics teaching and independent research at CERGE-EI in Prague, the joint workplace of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Scholars teach a research-based graduate course in English, conduct research of their choosing, and advise or mentor students. Any economics specialization is welcome, including energy, environmental, and health economics.
Co-financed by the Fulbright Commission and the host institution, the award advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations through international understanding and cooperation. In addition to their primary academic activities, scholars may be asked to give public talks and engage with the host community.
