Description
The Fulbright-Durham University Scholar Award supports work in all disciplines at Durham University in England. Offered through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program and the US-UK Fulbright Commission, it funds research, teaching, teaching/research combinations, and professional or artistic projects. Durham’s four faculties cover Arts and Humanities, Business, Social Sciences and Health, and Science, including Engineering. Scholars may mentor students, develop curricula or programs, and teach undergraduate or graduate courses.
The award combines academic and professional work with Fulbright’s mission of international understanding and cooperation. Candidates should explain why their project belongs in the UK and how they will engage with the wider community. The Commission seeks potential and established leaders whose work can contribute significantly to key issues in their fields and facilitate U.S.-UK knowledge exchange.
