Description
The Fulbright-Edinburgh Napier University Scholar Award supports a research project of the applicant’s choosing in nursing at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program and the US-UK Fulbright Commission, it places scholars within the School of Health & Social Care, which emphasizes practical and applied research. Research strengths include cardiovascular health, mental health practice, policy and law, population and public health, healthcare technologies, and midwifery.
The award also advances mutual understanding and knowledge exchange between the United States and United Kingdom. Scholars participate in academic, cultural and social opportunities through the Commission and may be asked to give public talks, mentor students and engage with the host community. Candidates should explain both their academic goals and how they will learn about and contribute to their host country and culture.
