Description
The Fulbright-FAPESP Postdoctoral Awards are offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program in partnership with FAPESP and the Fulbright Commission in Brazil. They provide pre-arranged affiliations for early-career scholars to conduct research of their choosing relevant to one of six public universities in the state of São Paulo. Projects are sought in all disciplines, including scientific, qualitative, quantitative, practice-based, and artistic research.
Research is the central activity. Scholars may also collaborate with Brazilian colleagues, guest lecture, mentor students, build professional networks, and engage with faculty and the broader community. These exchanges support Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations and promoting international understanding and cooperation.
