The Fulbright Finland - E. Michael Loovis Travel Grants to Cleveland State University support short-term visits (1 week to 3 months) for researchers, faculty, administrators, and higher education representatives residing in Finland. The primary goal is to initiate or strengthen research collaborations and long-term institutional partnerships between Finnish home institutions and Cleveland State University (CSU) in the United States. Activities may include research, launching or piloting collaborative projects, negotiating institutional agreements, and professional networking. Grantees are also expected to share information about Fulbright Finland Foundation opportunities and act as ambassadors for their home institution and Finland.
The program provides not only financial support for travel and accommodation but also personal advising, orientation to U.S. academic culture, and access to Fulbright alumni networks.
