Description
The Fulbright Finland Foundation partners with Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, to support Finnish students pursuing a full bachelor's degree. Students admitted with the Hilppa A.K. Roby Scholarship or a Vanderbilt merit-based scholarship are automatically considered for the partnership award. Vanderbilt provides the scholarship funding, while the Foundation conducts a separate review and adds services to prepare students for undergraduate study in the United States.
The partnership aims to strengthen high-quality educational mobility and connections between Finland and the U.S. Its benefits include pre-departure orientation in Finland, personal advising, visa-process support, access to Foundation resources, and Finnish and U.S. alumni networks. The program is fully sponsored by the Foundation and operates outside the U.S. State Department-sponsored Fulbright program.
