Description
The Fulbright Finland Undergraduate Program combines partial financial support for bachelor-level studies at accredited U.S. institutions with a commitment to citizen diplomacy. It supports exchange students, free movers, and students beginning a full bachelor’s degree. Participants share Finnish culture, connect with their host communities, and contribute to relations between Finland and the United States.
The Foundation seeks students who want to shape the future, drive positive change in society or academia, advance their fields, and address their fields’ central challenges. Beyond funding, participants receive orientation to U.S. culture and higher education, personal advising, visa-process support, networking opportunities, and alumni contacts in both countries. The program is fully sponsored by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and operates outside the U.S. State Department-sponsored Fulbright program.
