This program offers Finnish students, recent graduates, and early career teachers the opportunity to spend one academic year at a U.S. university as a Finnish Language and Culture Teaching Assistant. Grantees assist in teaching Finnish language and culture, act as cultural ambassadors, and participate in academic and cultural exchange activities. The program aims to strengthen relations between Finland and the U.S., support professional development, and provide international networking opportunities. In addition to teaching, grantees can take up to four university courses free of charge and receive extensive orientation, advising, and support.
