Description
This award offers a unique opportunity for U.S. scholars specializing in psychoanalysis and related disciplines to spend four months in Vienna, Austria. The recipient will conduct research at the Sigmund Freud Museum and teach a graduate or undergraduate course at a Viennese university, with the teaching assignment arranged collaboratively by the Sigmund Freud Foundation and Fulbright Austria. The program aims to foster academic exchange, promote international understanding, and encourage engagement with the local community through public talks, mentoring, and other activities. Areas of interest include human sciences, cultural studies, the theory and practice of psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic studies, neuroscience as it relates to psychoanalysis, and the arts.
