Description
This Fulbright Scholar award supports research, university-level teaching, or a combination of both in Mexico across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Scholars may pursue research of their own choosing or projects designated by a host institution, teach undergraduate or graduate courses, advise students, consult on curriculum and faculty development, and deliver seminars and workshops. Medical sciences projects without patient contact are considered.
COMEXUS, the U.S.–Mexico Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange, manages Fulbright grants in Mexico. The award combines academic work with Fulbright’s mission of promoting international understanding and cooperation. Scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with host communities beyond their primary academic activities. COMEXUS promotes institutional networks and work relevant to the binational agenda.
