Description
Offered through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, this award supports a six-month exchange at The Glasgow School of Art (GSA), Scotland. Scholars contribute through research, seminars, masterclasses, public lectures, curriculum development, mentoring, and professional or artistic projects. The exchange aims to strengthen mutual understanding and knowledge sharing between the United States and United Kingdom through scholarly work and engagement with the host community.
GSA’s interdisciplinary research spans creative practice, theory, and historical and critical studies. Its strategic themes are Sustainable Environment and Economies; History, Heritage, Archives and Collections; and Health and Care. Applications are sought across appropriate disciplines, with particular interest in Design for Health and Care, Cultural and Future Heritage, and research clusters such as Reading Landscape. Scholars may pursue their own projects or work designated by the host institution.
