Description
This award supports U.S. scholars in business and economics to spend 2–5 months at Hanken School of Economics (Helsinki or Vaasa, Finland) as a Distinguished Chair. The position combines teaching and research, with the expectation that the scholar will contribute to Hanken’s academic programs, engage in research, and foster linkages between U.S. and Finnish academia and the corporate sector. Scholars are encouraged to deliver guest lectures at other Finnish universities and participate in academic and community outreach. The program is jointly funded by Hanken and the Fulbright Finland Foundation, with comprehensive support and orientation services for grantees.
