Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports teaching or combined teaching and research at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE). Disciplines include agriculture, biology, economics, engineering, environmental sciences, tourism, and urban planning/studies. Particular interests include mechanical engineering alongside agriculture, economics, environmental sciences, and urban planning. Scholars may teach undergraduate or graduate courses, conduct their own research, or join university research projects.
Scholars normally teach two courses, reduced to one when research forms a more substantial component. There is no preferred teaching/research time split. The exchange also supports student mentoring and faculty, curriculum, or program development. Scholars are encouraged to engage in academic and community life and may deliver guest lectures elsewhere in Hungary, furthering Fulbright’s goals of international understanding and cooperation.
