This award enables U.S. scholars to teach and/or conduct research at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), one of Europe’s largest agricultural higher education institutions. Scholars are expected to teach one or two courses, with flexibility depending on the balance between teaching and research. Engagement in the academic and community life of MATE—including advising students, participating in outreach, collaborating on research, and delivering guest lectures—is encouraged. The award aims to foster international academic exchange, support global partnerships, and promote mutual understanding between the U.S. and Hungary.
