Description
This Fulbright Scholar award supports research at the ifk International Research Center for Cultural Studies, University of Art and Design Linz in Vienna, which funds the fellowship. Its focus is interdisciplinary and comparative cultural studies, social sciences, and humanities relevant to Viennese, Austrian, and Central European traditions. Projects should connect with the ifk’s research program, especially “cultures of translation,” “different work,” and “situated in the global.”
The ifk favors projects combining empirical investigation, thoughtful theoretical analysis, and interdisciplinary methodology, including artistic research. Exclusively theoretical or exclusively empirical proposals are discouraged.
