Description
Funded by IMC Krems through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this award supports a flexible combination of teaching and research at an Austrian university of applied sciences. The scholar teaches three 90-minute class sessions each week. Course content and research objectives are agreed with the host institution, reflecting its needs and the scholar’s interests and expertise. Activities may also include advising advanced students and developing joint research with faculty.
The award focuses on IMC Krems’ business, science, and technology interests, from innovation, tourism, and sustainability to biotechnology, materials science, and responsible AI. Alongside academic work, the exchange promotes mutual understanding between Austria and the United States, strengthens institutional relationships, and encourages engagement with students and the host community.
