This award enables a U.S. scholar to spend four months at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU), Austria. The grantee will conduct a flexible combination of teaching (minimum two 90-minute class sessions) and research, with course content negotiated per the scholar’s expertise and the host’s needs. Joint research with the host department is encouraged, and the scholar may advise or supervise advanced students. Engagement with the broader university and local community through public talks, mentoring, and outreach is expected, furthering Fulbright’s mission of international understanding.
