Description
The Fulbright-Lancaster University Scholar Award in Science and Technology supports a three-to-six-month research project of the applicant’s choosing at Lancaster University in England. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program, the award supports work within appropriate specializations of Lancaster’s Faculty of Science and Technology. Its research community advances scientific knowledge and develops practical solutions for the economy, society, and environment, with an emphasis on a positive research culture and sustainability.
The award also advances Fulbright’s mission to strengthen relationships between people in the United States and other nations. Alongside research, scholars may give public talks, mentor students, and engage with their host community. Academic, cultural, and social events organized through the US-UK Fulbright Commission provide further opportunities for exchange.
