This grant supports Finnish primary and secondary school leaders in developing diverse, equitable, and language-aware schools through a transatlantic professional development and networking program. Selected participants engage in both virtual and in-person collaboration with U.S. partners, attend the International School Leaders Association (ISLA) symposium in the U.S., visit U.S. schools, and participate in relevant conferences and networking events. The program emphasizes strategies to support immigrant and refugee students, and includes pre-departure orientation, post-program knowledge sharing, and access to Fulbright Finland alumni activities. Funding is provided by the Finnish National Agency for Education and administered by the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
