Description
This award enables U.S. scholars to spend 3 to 12 months at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, engaging in research, teaching, lecturing, or professional projects across any research-active department. Scholars become Fellows of the Institute of Advanced Studies, are integrated into the university’s research communities, and are encouraged to participate in public talks, mentoring, and collaboration. The program is open to all disciplines, with particular interest in projects aligning with Loughborough’s strategic themes: sport, health and wellbeing; climate change and net zero; and vibrant and inclusive communities. The award aims to foster international collaboration, professional development, and cultural engagement.
