This award supports U.S. scholars to conduct research for 4–12 months at the Electric Mobility Research Center (EMRC) at LUT University, Finland. The program encourages multidisciplinary research across themes such as efficient electronics, energy grid integration, data and business, competitiveness of the e-mobility industry, customer behavior, market development, societal transformation, and emerging technologies (e.g., wireless charging, automated driving). Scholars may also lecture in any of LUT University’s three schools: Business, Energy Systems, or Engineering Science. The award fosters collaboration with EMRC and industry partners, particularly Kempower, and welcomes innovative proposals that may extend beyond the listed themes. Grantees receive extensive support services and become part of the Fulbright Finland Foundation’s vibrant scholar network.
