Description
The Fulbright-LUT-EMRC Scholar Award supports U.S. scholars seeking to conduct research for 4 to 12 months at the Electric Mobility Research Center (EMRC) at LUT University in Finland. The program welcomes multidisciplinary proposals related to electric mobility, including but not limited to efficient electronics, data-driven business, e-mobility industry competitiveness, customer behavior, infrastructure, and emerging technologies such as wireless charging and automated driving. Scholars may also engage in lectures and collaborative projects across LUT University's Schools of Business, Energy Systems, and Engineering Science, and are encouraged to propose innovative research that aligns with or expands EMRC's core themes.
The award promotes international academic exchange and close cooperation with industry (notably Kempower, a Finnish high-power DC charging equipment manufacturer). Scholars benefit from robust support, networking, and orientation services from the Fulbright Finland Foundation, as well as housing and administrative support from LUT University.
