    Description

This opportunity supports U.S. scholars to undertake research—and potentially deliver lectures—at LUT University’s Kempower Electric Mobility Research Center (EMRC) in Finland. The program encourages multidisciplinary research in electric mobility, encompassing themes such as efficient electronics, data and business analytics, industry competitiveness, customer behavior, market development, and future e-mobility technologies (e.g., wireless charging, automated driving). Scholars are invited to propose projects that align with or expand beyond these themes.

Collaboration with LUT Business School, LUT School of Energy Systems, or LUT School of Engineering Science is encouraged. Grantees will work closely with EMRC and industry partners, especially Kempower, and are expected to engage with the host community through public talks and student mentoring. The award is jointly funded by EMRC, LUT University, and the Fulbright Finland Foundation, aiming to foster international academic cooperation and innovation in electric mobility.
