Description
The Fulbright-Masaryk Award (NGO Management) supports academics and professionals with nonprofit backgrounds working in the Czech Republic. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program and the Czech Fulbright Commission, it welcomes projects in all disciplines focused on NGO management and development. Projects are expected to combine lectures on nonprofit management and/or public policy with cooperation with local NGOs in the applicant’s area of expertise.
Activities include undergraduate or graduate teaching, research in the applicant’s specialization, and nonprofit consulting. Teaching is limited to three hours weekly. Scholars also mentor students and assist with faculty, grant, curriculum, or program development as requested. The award connects academic work with nonprofit engagement while advancing Fulbright’s goal of international understanding and cooperation. Public talks and host-community engagement may complement the primary project.
