Description
This award provides a unique opportunity for U.S. scholars to spend four months at the Medical University of Innsbruck in Austria, engaging in a flexible combination of teaching and research. Grantees are expected to teach at least two 90-minute classes per week for graduate and PhD students in medical and life sciences, advise or supervise advanced students, and develop joint research projects with university faculty. The specifics of courses and research objectives are negotiated with the host institution to align with both the university’s needs and the grantee’s expertise. The Medical University of Innsbruck is a leading academic and research institution with a broad range of theoretical and clinical departments. Scholars are encouraged to contribute actively to departmental research and collaborative publications.
