Description
The Fulbright-NAWI Graz Visiting Professor award supports a flexible combination of teaching, student advising, and collaborative natural sciences research in Graz, Austria. Funded by NAWI Graz through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this split-site award is co-sponsored by Graz University of Technology and the University of Graz through their strategic natural sciences cooperation.
The visiting professor teaches two advanced undergraduate or graduate courses, each meeting weekly for 90 minutes. Course format, content, level, and research focus are agreed with the host institution to reflect the scholar’s interests and expertise. The award seeks scientist-teachers whose work strengthens international understanding, supports collaboration between Austria and the United States, and establishes or enhances institutional relationships. NAWI Graz also encourages an extracurricular activity developing students’ networking skills, with organizational support provided.
