Description
This prestigious award supports U.S. scholars and specialists in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) to undertake research, teaching, and collaboration at Finnish higher education institutions. The program aims to foster enduring research partnerships and academic–industry collaborations between the U.S. and Finland, with an emphasis on joint publications, mentoring, and extensive engagement with Finland’s R&D and high-tech sectors, including companies like Nokia. Eligible research topics include digital infrastructure, software/hardware, algorithms, data science, advanced network technologies, human-computer interaction, business practices, and the policy or socio-economic dimensions of ICT.
