Description
This Fulbright Distinguished Scholar award supports teaching or combined teaching and research in all fields offered at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Co-financed by the Czech Fulbright Commission and the university, it supports advanced undergraduate and graduate instruction, student mentoring, curriculum development, and research cooperation. Scholars teach a maximum of two courses (maximum three hours) weekly, consult with faculty on curriculum, and discuss their specialization with colleagues. All teaching is in English.
The award also advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other nations. Scholars may be asked to give public talks and engage with the host community alongside their academic activities. These exchanges encourage international understanding, professional connections, and continuing collaboration with Czech colleagues.
