    Description

    This Fulbright award enables a U.S. scholar to serve as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria. The position involves a flexible blend of teaching and research, including teaching two classes (nine sessions each, 90 minutes per session) within the university’s diploma, bachelor's, and master's programs. Course content and level are determined in consultation with the host institution, aligning with both faculty needs and the scholar’s expertise.

    The scholar will also present and discuss research findings with students and faculty, participate in joint workshops and seminars with neighboring universities, and engage in collaborative research projects. The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences is renowned for its empirical orientation, interdisciplinary research, and advanced infrastructure, with research strengths in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, geography, geology, materials science, medical sciences, neuroscience, and psychology.
