Description

Administered by Fulbright Israel through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this fellowship supports U.S. postdoctoral scholars conducting research at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Israel. Applications are welcomed from all academic disciplines. Researchers outside the creative fields must explain how their discipline interacts with Bezalel’s areas of interest in art, design, and architecture. Projects may be chosen by the applicant or designated by the host institution.

The fellowship supports Bezalel’s emphasis on originality, creativity, innovation, and research that generates new knowledge. It also advances Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships and mutual understanding between people in the United States and other nations. Alongside their research, fellows may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community.
