Description
This Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship supports U.S. scholars undertaking research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Open to all academic disciplines, it supports projects chosen by applicants or designated by the host institution. Fellowships span one or two academic years, enabling sustained research and collaboration with access to campus resources. Fulbright Israel, also known as the United States–Israel Educational Foundation, administers the program locally.
The fellowship combines research with Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other countries and promoting international understanding and cooperation. Alongside their primary research, fellows may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community. Fulbright Israel also provides arrival orientation and opportunities to participate in cultural and academic events.
