Description
Funded by the University of Newcastle through the Fulbright Scholar Program, this scholarship supports two postdoctoral scholars undertaking research in New South Wales, Australia. Scholars conduct a project of their choosing within the university’s priority research areas. The university emphasizes work addressing real-world challenges and delivering local, national, and global benefits across health and wellbeing, energy and sustainability, industry and technological innovation, and community and social futures.
The award also promotes international understanding and cooperation through the bilateral relationship between the United States and Australia. Alongside their research, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with the host community. Research may include scientific, qualitative, quantitative, practice-based, or artistic work.
