This scholarship enables Australian academics and professionals to undertake research or professional projects in the United States in the priority fields of strategic studies, technology, and innovation. The program aims to foster research collaboration, exchange of ideas, and cultural understanding between Australia and the U.S. Recipients are expected to produce a tangible scholarly contribution—such as a report for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or a publishable work—focused on Australia-U.S. relations.
