Description
This award supports experienced U.S. scholars in conducting research at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Faculty of Health Sciences, through the Fulbright-Saastamoinen Foundation Distinguished Chair. The Chair is open to scholars in any field of health sciences, with priority for research in cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, or neuroscience. The grant is structured as a Flex award, allowing two one-month visits over two consecutive years, and aims to foster deep academic collaboration and exchange between U.S. and Finnish researchers. The position is jointly funded by the Saastamoinen Foundation and the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
