This grant supports U.S. scholars to undertake research and teaching in health or environmental sciences at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). Awardees may engage in a blend of research, teaching, mentoring, and public outreach at UEF's faculties and research units, including Health Sciences, Science and Forestry, and Social Sciences and Business Studies. The program especially encourages multidisciplinary projects in water research, forests and bioeconomy, and neuroscience.
